Professor Philip Eng is Director of Clinical Services at Singhealth since Sept 2007. He is also Senior Consultant at the Department of Respiratory & Critical Care Medicine at the Singapore General Hospital, a department which he headed during the past 9 years. He is a member of many academic Societies and is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP), Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP) and the Royal College of Physicians in London, UK (FRCP). Dr. Eng was past president of the Singapore Thoracic Society and is currently an International Regent of the American College of Chest Physicians. He has been an invited speaker at many meetings all over the world and has authored more than 100 peer reviewed publications, chapters and books.

His interests are in Critical Care Medicine, Lung Cancer, Interventional Bronchoscopy and Chest Radiology. Dr. Eng is a founding member of the Asia Pacific Society of Bronchology and was Congress President of the 2nd Asia Pacific Congress of Bronchology, held in Singapore in July 2007.
